Setting up online registration
Online Registration for Teams and Individuals
Although you can register all of your teams and individual anglers manually through the Tournament Setup
page, for many tournaments it's easier to allow them to register themselves online.
By default, each tournament you create comes with an online registration page which you can customize extensively to match your needs.

Understanding your online registration options
Online registration can be provided to your anglers for a single tournament using one or both of the following components on your registration page:
Team Registration Form
component, where a team consisting of one or multiple (up to 10) individual anglers can register to the tournament.Individual Registration Form
component, where a single individual angler can register to an existing team.
Customizing your registration page
By default your registration page contains a single Team Registration Form
component. This works well when your tournament is team- or boat-based and when your team register their associated anglers at the same time.
If your tournament is team- or boat-based, but you need the ability for anglers to register themselves to already-registered teams as well, just add an Individual Registration Form
component to the same page. This works well when a registering team doesn't add all of their anglers initially. It also allows for individual anglers to register to a global team (e.g. pier, dock, or beach-based anglers) without the need to assign them to a specific boat.
If your tournament is angler-based and you only need the ability for individual anglers to register to an existing global team you set up prior to online registration, use an Individual Registration Form
component by itself on your registration page.

Registration Form Component Settings: General Tab
- Registration Form Title: Type in an optional title for your registration form here (max. 200 characters). This static title will be displayed just above your form.
- Tournament: Choose the tournament that the registration form connects to. If "- Current Tournament -" is selected, the form will try to determine which tournament it's page is connected to automatically.
- Allow Registration?: Choose 'Yes' to enable registration and 'No' to disable registration through this form. This setting only affects the form it's connected to and will not affect any other registration forms on the same page with the exception of Individual Registration forms connected via the
Individuals
tab (Team Reg. Form only). - Team to Register Anglers To (Individual Reg. Form only): Choose the team that anglers will be registered to through this form. If no team is chosen, the individual angler will first be prompted to choose a team.
- Max Anglers On Team (Individual Reg. Form only): Sets the maximum number of anglers that can be registered to the team selected in
Team to Register Anglers To
. Once this amount is reached, the form will no longer accept additional registrations. - Default Anglers Rows (Team Reg. Form only): Sets the amount of individual angler rows to show initially for new teams. Additional anglers can be added beyond this amount by the user by clicking the '+ Add Another Angler' button within the form, as long as they don't reach the

amount. - Max Anglers Per Team (Team Reg. Form only): Sets the maximum number of anglers that can be registered through the form per team.
- Verify Visitors?: When set to 'Yes', the form will prompt visitors to verify their 'Team Email' to register a pre-existing team. This increases privacy of the form by only allowing teams that can verify this email address to see their existing profile information.
- Allow Edits?: When set to 'Yes', allows registered teams to make changes to their profile and associated anglers after registration. This feature can have unintended side effects for team registrations when used incorrectly, so it is not recommended for public use. Instead, changes to existing registrations should be directed to an administrator of the tournament.
- Use CAPTCHA security?: Controls the 'I am not a robot' security box which helps protect this form from spammers and bots. It is usually safe to disable this feature on forms that have low public visitor traffic.
- Thank You Message: This message is shown to visitors after a successful registration has been submitted. It also is sent along with the confirmation email received by the registrant.
Registration Form Component Settings: Email Tab
- Send Email To: The e-mail address where this form sends top-level notification emails to when a successful registration is placed. Typically this should be set to the email of an administrator of the tournament who handles registration.

Why are some fields showing up on my form even though I unchecked them on the Form Fields tab?
If you have one or more fields unchecked but still showing on your registration forms, it's likely that they are set as required fields in your tournament settings under theRegistration
tab. All fields set as required in your general tournament settings will always show up on your registration forms regardless of the form's settings.
Registration Form Component Settings: Payments Tab
- Team Reg. Fees (Team Reg. Form only): Choose whether to show an 'Amount Due' during registration for the team. To collect the fee online by credit card, make sure to enable online payment.
- Angler Reg. Fees: Choose whether to show an 'Amount Due' during registration for each angler. To collect the fee online by credit card, make sure to enable online payment.
- Enable online payment?: If set to 'Yes', be sure to set your registration fees and choose a payment gateway under

Where do I set the registration fees for my forms?
If you choose to show registration fees in your forms, you can set up the formula that calculates those fees for both your teams and your individual anglers under theTournament Reports
section of your tournament. Just click the Customize Report
button above either the 'Registered Teams' or 'Registered Anglers' report and enable the "Calculation Column" to build your registration fee calculation.
