How to create a 'Live Results for TV' page
To display your leaderboards on a TV or large screen, you can add one or more TV Output pages to your tournament to allow real-time viewing of scoring during your tournament. This option is available to you when you first create a tournament under the Pages tab by enabling the "Live Results for TV" page option.
Creating the TV Output page
If you didn't create a Live Results for TV page via the Page tab when you created your tournament initially, you can build a new one following these steps:
- Access the
Tournament Setuppage for the tournament you want to create a new Live Results for TV page for. - Next to
Tournament Pages, click the gray [+] icon. In theAdd New Pagewindow that shows, enter 'Live Results for TV' as thePage Title, choose 'TV Output' as thePage Type, then choose 'Live Results for TV Output' as theTemplate. - Click the blue
Add New Pagebutton to create the new page.
- Manually add new leaderboards to the new page. If you haven't closed the window yet from Step 3 above, you can click the blue
Edit this pagebutton to begin customizing your leaderboards on this page. To learn how to add and edit leaderboards, just watch this video. - Copy your existing leaderboards to the new page. Just access any 'Live Results' page that you want to copy a leaderboard from, then click the gray
Duplicatebutton on that leaderboard and choose your new 'Live Results for TV' page from the list. Choose the top "Main full-width" option underDuplicate this toand click the blueCopybutton to copy it over. Repeat this step for all leaderboards you want to copy over.
Hiding the page from the public (optional)
To move your new 'Live Results for TV' page to a folder that's not easily accessible to the public, access the Pages > View & Edit Pages section from the main navigation, click the Create New Folder button at the top of the page and enter "Hidden" (or whatever you want to name it) as the folder name with your tournament selected as the sub-folder, then drag your 'Live Results for TV' page into that new folder.
Further customization of the TV Output page
Now that you have a new 'Live Results for TV' page, feel free to customize it to your liking. For example, you can add a header image with your organization or tournament logo, change the background image with your own custom image by editing the TV Output Controller component, or change the text size of any part of the outputted leaderboards to best fit your display.
How do I connect my 'Live Results for TV' page to my TV or display?
In most cases, you'll need a separate computer to send the 'Live Results for TV' page to your TV or display connected with either an HDMI or VGA cable (depending on what input ports your TV or display has available).That said, you can also use a wireless connection available from some Smart TVs (using the built-in browser feature) or cast the live results wirelessly using a casting device like a Chromecast or AirPlay. Many organizations use that instead to run both weigh-in AND the TV results page from the same laptop.

Once connected, you can change the resolution settings on your TV or connected computer to find the one that best fits your leaderboards. You can also change settings on the
Display tab of the TV Output Controller component on your 'Live Results for TV' page to fine-tune the text sizes and leaderboard widths.
